Transparency in products, trust but verify

Transparency

Have you ever been told that the car you are considering is the newest and best ever, but never put on the road? That the coffee pot you bought is state of the art, but ends up burning apart? Both happened to me when my husband bought a Wankel auto with an eccentric design, a rotary engine that only started when our neighbors pushed it down the street. Or the coffee pot with the advanced features that started with a puff of smoke. Transparency is the honest and comprehensive disclosure of information about a product, including its ingredients, sourcing, manufacturing practices, and environmental impact, to build trust, enable informed consumer choices, and foster loyalty. This continuous, throughout-the-product-lifecycle effort involves clear ingredient lists, detailed safety data, supply chain information, and sometimes even QR codes to provide consumers with full visibility into the product's journey. Case Medical supports transparency and honesty in communications. We also utilize QR codes that directly link to date of manufacture, lot number, and GTIN number. For our SteriTite containers, we have even gone further by utilizing the QR code to link directly to our IFU in 37 languages.

Confidence

If the equipment you purchased is missing a QR code, or has a lot number with 0,00,000,0000 to infinity, buyer beware. The product is likely a prototype being sold off label and untraceable. Not all suppliers may be willing to provide detailed or sensitive information, which can create data gaps in the supply chain. Sharing information about the entire supply chain process gives consumers a complete view of the product's journey based on accurate and complete information. Product transparency fosters a trusting relationship between consumers and brands by demonstrating honesty and accountability. Providing data and evidence to back up claims about product quality or sustainability is the basis of establishing a trusted relationship. Case Medical has third party certifications including ISO 13485 and ISO 27001 and is regularly audited for compliance and prepared with documentation for any vendor or FDA audit.

Trust and Verify

Case Medical supports transparency in communications and provides the information with a simple scan for care and handling of its products on its label including cautions and warnings for use. Now with a simple scan, no need for paper documents or files that can only be accessed upon request from the supervisor. Each step of the way, Case Medical’s container system provides the necessary information for operation and for traceability. We understand your need to have a trusted supplier. One that validates its products that you can then verify for your intended use. Case Medical supports sustainability, standardization and the values associated with the Total Cost of Ownership. Less is best, so standardize on our products to reduce inventory and give you the transparency that you need for patent safety.

A transparent solution

Some companies fear negative publicity or criticism if they reveal imperfections in their processes or products. You may already know about the many benefits of our certified cleaners and our universally compatible SteriTite containers to reduce duplication. Now to address your needs in a practical manner…We discontinued our 24-ounce bottles of Case Solutions and upgraded them to an improved more sustainable, transparent, 34-ounces (1 liter) bottle at no additional cost. 30% more product for the same price. Our way of helping you not only be resilient but prepared with certified products and cleaners. Trust but verify, we have nothing to hide. Our UDI and our transparent bottles of solution are not the only way we demonstrate that. Contact a Case Medical representative to learn more.
