The Three C’s of Supply Chain Management

What We’ve Learned

To synchronize your supply chain, communication, collaboration and coordination are important habits to get used to. I’ve gotten dependent on Amazon to deliver staples like cat and dog food, kitty litter, paper towels and toilet paper. I am sure that many of you use Amazon or other online services as well to maintain control over your supplies. Remember the mask, paper, and hand sanitizer crisis from previous years. Subscribing to an online procurement program takes away the concerns about running out of stock and searching for necessary supplies at the last minute. Then, don’t discount the costs associated with overnight or Express shipping and paying more for something you could have planned for. I hate to admit it, but I’m currently worried about potential supply chain disruptions. That is why we are sending out communications to encourage you to collaborate and coordinate with us.

Just In Time Procurement and Planning

Case Medical is a manufacturer of reprocessing solutions for healthcare specifically for sterilization and infection prevention. We have been in business for over three decades and while we are a Just In Time (JIT) manufacturer, we know that uncertainty can put a strain on all of us, even with the best laid plans. To mitigate risks, companies and facilities can utilize strategies like supply chain mapping, invest in back up inventory, diversify and use technology and automation to ensure that their supply chain is visible and agile. We’ve engaged university teams from Rutgers and NJIT to help us plan with data collection and data analysis.

We Got Your Back

During the pandemic, when we faced a true, not potential supply chain crisis, we developed our AutoBuy Procurement Program. It might be time to introduce it to you again to give you, our healthcare colleagues, a way to become a preferred subscriber. A strategy to assist you in supply chain planning to avoid uncertainty, exceptional events, material price variations, and importantly to ensure that what you need arrives on time. We’ll even give you a 5% price reduction when you order three items or more for monthly deliveries over a one year period. And, yes, if you need to make substitutions we can accommodate.

Case Medical has developed a 360 degree approach to instrument processing. We are here to help, communicate with us so we can collaborate with you to solve problems and respond to your needs. Reach out to us any time at [email protected].
